CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Aqua Aerobics Class includes a moderate to advanced aerobic workout using the resistance of the water, strengthening and stretching to promote flexibility. These water classes include fun choreography and participation drills using the aqua equipment. Most instructors teach from the deck to maximize the visualization and choreography to keep the class interesting.
Arthritis Aquatics Program A recreational water exercise program for people with arthritis. Instructor is certified by the Arthritis Foundation and follows the AF guidelines for safety and procedure. The pool is kept at an average temperature of 85 degrees, therefore, in some cases, the temperature may be too low for some participants with advanced cases of arthritis. This class helps decrease the pain and stiffness and helps improve or maintain joint flexibility.
Aqua Sculpt This class gives your muscles definition. Specialized tools are used to work the abs along with the upper and lower body. The class ends with stretching to promote flexibility.
Cardio Aqua This class gets your heart rate up and keeps it there! We begin with a warm-up, and move to the cardio portion and end with stretching.
Aqua Interval Increase cardiovascular endurance and strength. Aerobics combined with resistance training and stretching.
Muscle Max Get a full body strength training using water resistance and specialized tools. A true liquid weight-room.
Total Water Workout Aqua aerobics with a twist. Instructor includes fun tools and low intensity exercise for a totally unique workout.
Aqua Kickboxing High energy, fun cardio workout with your classic kickboxing moves.
Aqua Combo This class begins with an aerobic workout strengthening your heart and lungs, and ends with resistance training to improve muscle strength & flexibility.
Hydro Pilates Improve core strength, balance and coordination.
